Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I'm receiving jobseekers benefit at the moment, I'm not having any luck with jobs where I live.
If I moved to say Dublin, to look for jobs, could I transfer my benefits over.

    Generally yes. Talk to them.

I'm in the same dilemma, I've been trying to get work for the last three months in Dundalk but I can't find anything. Now the lease on the house I live in is up and I don't want to make the commitment to another house for 9-12 months. So I'm moving back home.

Will I have to reapply for the JSA (new means test etc.) because I'm moving back into my parents house?

Probably because your parents income will be taken into account.

Yeah that's what i was thinking. Last time applied to Cavan it took 3 months to get the means test and another 2 months before I started to get payments.:(

If you are over 23, you parent's income is likely to have less of an effect.

Then seek SWA from the local community welfare officer.
