I may be slightly early, but anyway. I need to keep track of my studying as I tend to procrastinate... a lot :P

My subjects: (from best to worst with the grades I hope to achieve)

    Geography (H) B1
    Biology (H) B1
    Gaeilge (H) B2
    English (H) B2
    Economics (H) B2
    German (H) B3
    Math* (H) D2
    *might drop down

    That's a total of 485 points. :pac:
I'm interested in Commerce, Law, Geography, Nursing, Sociology, Midwifery and Biological and Chemical Sciences (all UCC). I've been doing little bits and pieces over summer because I missed a good bit of school. Also doing after school study.

    Let the games begin. :D

Forgot to include this above ^ today is dedicated to biology; writing notes, drawing diagrams and learning some equations :)

    So. Much. English.
Seriously though it took me an hour to organise all my notes. I have geography and economics notes to sort too. Plenty of time :P

This past week I have been extremely busy.
I have 7 large folders full of notes and I honestly have no idea how they will fit into my tiny locker. :p
After school study starts the first Tuesday of September so I'll try to get into a routine soon enough.
I went through my math notes. I finally understood where I was going wrong so I did paper 1 of 2013 and got 195/300! :D
Practise really does make perfect :pac:

    One week to school.
The kitchen table is half full with my books and folders all prepared for next week.
I attempted a few Maths questions, got half of them correct.
Quite pleased with that to be honest :).
    Staying at higher level.

Later this evening it's some sraith pictiúrs

So here I am currently drawing an alveolus. As one does :D
Everything is almost in order for next week.
The serious studying will start then not like the little bits and bobs I'm doing now.
Can't wait to get it started

Nerves are kicking in now. Can't wait to get tomorrow over and done with so I can make my study timetable :pac:
If I get double Maths on Friday evenings... ugh the thought of it makes me shudder :D
I'm going to watch some movies in German now with German subtitles. I find it useful.

DOUBLE MATHS ON A MONDAY MORNING!
Ah sure it could be worse (or could it? :D )
Got my timetable and now for the fun part of making a colourful study chart. :P
I'm aiming for 30 hours+ of study a week. (might vary closer to exams etc.)
    Still can't believe I'm a 6th year.

You started study and notes before even going back... You will get the points you need! That's dedication.

Much more productive day today :D
Did some more trig, English essay, key words and phrases for Irish oral, revised coastal processes in geography (starting project soon)
Rewrote biology notes I took down in class.
Now I'm going to sort out my maths notes. :p

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,027 ✭✭✭is mise spartacus

Did a fair bit in every subject today
Extremely proud of the amount I've done
    Some more Maths later on
Considering I was struggling before I'm finding Maths easier now
    Yay :p

I tried using that site, and completed a few lessons for Italian. But there are a lot of problems with it ... for Italian. :l A lot of the audio things don't work and some of the sentences don't make sense.

I have used it before for German and a good few of the articles *der, die, das* have been wrong
But other than that I really agree, and it gives some quite good phrases
