Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Where to get suits pressed in Dublin?

I need to get my suit pressed and, as it's my first, which I really shelled out on, I want to have it lightly pressed for a 'do' I have to attend next month.

Where in the south city centre is a good place to go? Anywhere within walking range from the Harcourt St area.

Most dry cleaners will do it.

If it's pure wool (which it probably is if you've spent a bit) I would just hang it up and let the creases fall out. If you really want it pressed, I wouldn't go near a dry cleaners. The trousers can be pressed by anybody, but a suit jacket needs a specialist. Alot of the jacket's shape comes from very careful pressing when it's made and someone who doesn't specialise in it can, nay will, make a mess out of it. If it really, really needs it, ask someone in Louis Copelands or Abrahams or if you know of a bespoke tailor near you and they can tell you where to get it done.

My bro-in-law (dry cleaner) has done mine once or twice with no disasters. Maybe he takes more care for family :)
