Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Oil for 2007 Octavia 1.9 Diesel

    Hi all,

    Could anyone recommend a good quality, reasonably priced engine oil for a 2007 Skoda Octavia 1.9 Diesel.

    It's the Elegance model with the DSG box in it.
    It has about 135K miles on it.

    Wife drives around 400KM per week, lots of City traffic too.

    OK so after a bit of poking around, it seems to be fully synthetic 5W30 VW/Audi 507 00

    Hope this is useful to someone else in the future.

    Halfords were doing a good price on 5L Mobil 1 5w 30 esp vw 50400 50700. Got it a just over 40 euro.
