Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

+1 on this, struggling to find one. Damnyou sky sports Setanta should be part of the package :(.

    PM'd :)

We're giving Stoke far too much time to get 10 men behind the ball when we win the ball back. Our transitions form defence to attack need to be much quicker

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,209 ✭✭✭Redzer7

    Suicidal back pass there.

Any streams lads? Sorry for hassling, having no luck finding one.

Arsenal look very intimidated out there.

    Match is gone very flat.

    Looong 30mins left.

I'd be throwing on Chamberlain if I were you AW.

Just get Gervinho off tbh, waste of space.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,209 ✭✭✭Redzer7

The Stoke fans cheering when one of our players go down are ****ing disgraceful.

The most ineffectual player we've ever had?

4 page thread... just waiting for Stoke to score and it to morph into a 10 page one with all the well wishers

get the ox on for gervinho!

    edit: Diaby on

Ah jaysus, Ramsey was having a decent enough game.

    AW

The Wenger chanting from them... I really really want them to go down.

    Poisonous club. Poisonous fans.

Aside from the obvious deadweight (Squillaci, Park, Chamakh etc.) he's the #1 out the door for me this summer. Give me Benayoun + Hoilett on a free over him any day. He is an absolute clogger, I've been saying this since day 1, I really can't understand why Arsene insists on persevering with him.

Watching it on mute now, can't stand them.

Ref doesn't seem to be giving us much either.

Ox must have done something to upset Wenger

Chamakh on. Stoke must be quaking in their boots.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,209 ✭✭✭Redzer7

    Fúcking Ronaldo lookalike!

Actually think Stoke have played quite well to be honest, they deserve the point.

Come on Santos give us a sparkling brazilian performance.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,569 ✭✭✭✭Frisbee

Oxo needs to come on here tbh. Not Diaby, Chamakh and Santos.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,019 ✭✭✭davycc

    santos on for yossi

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,209 ✭✭✭Redzer7

Chamakh's first 5 minutes of this game are some of the best I've seen him play!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,477 ✭✭✭✭cson

Diaby looks like he hasn't played in a year, because well... he hasn't played in a year. Not the player you need to be bringing on in this situation.

It'll be 2 points dropped here if it stays the same as far as I'm concerned.

Yeah? Stoke away, I would take a draw.

They raise their game for the bigger teams which is small time enough but it shouldn't matter to us; we just have to raise ours by an amount sufficient to beat them.

Like I said; we should be demolishing a midfield of Whelan and Whitehead.

That was quality from Sagna to clear that.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,209 ✭✭✭Redzer7

    Fúcking dive!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,477 ✭✭✭✭cson

    Whitehead is scum.

Scumbag tackle and then he dives like that.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,209 ✭✭✭Redzer7

    Fúcking hate Stoke!

home win against Norwich should secure 3rd I think

Pretty crappy performance from Arsenal, although that was to be expected with a few of the rejects on the pitch. Stoke had a good game and it seemed clear enough to me that the Stoke players are buoyed by Arsenal's fear.

Sagna he's brillant consistently, love him at the club.

Stoke I dislike so much, no grace in play or fanbase.

I take your point about the midfield. Glad we got out of that though without an injury. Terrible that you even have to say that!

Diaby is crocked. Limping at the end there. He has to go; he's just taking up a place in the squad at this stage. We need a squad of 25 players who can come in - we've been pulling from a core of 14/15 for the whole season and its starting to show in tired performances now.

Today is just after convincing me we need at least 5 additions to the squad.

None of the big teams have been able to put in a performance there. They're effective mullickers if I have to give them credit.

Still hate them and hope they go down as soon as possible.

Happy enough with the draw away at Stoke.

Stoke fans really are cretins of the highest order.

Very poor game. Can't be happy with a point away to a team of hoofers like Stoke. We have a few real cowardly players at Arsenal who are not willing to put their bodies on the line. I saw a few pull out of challenges in the second half (didn't see first half). We get very little from referees too as most seem to be pretty anti Arsenal. Hope Spurs drop points now.

    Good stuff that Newcastle lost..

Should have made something more from those direct free kicks IMO.

I'll go one better, hope the club goes into liquidation and the club folds.

I wouldnt be flying into tackles against Stoke. They'd love that. It would be playing in to their hands. Whenever we try return the hard tackles, the referee's deem every one of thm as a foul. Apparently it's one rule for Stoke, and another rule for their opponents.

Aye, the ugly bully in the playground is all they are.

Maybe due to what happened to another teenager when we played up there.

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,711 ✭✭✭keano_afc

The good: A point up there is no disaster. I thought we coped with their lineouts pretty well and played all the football. Then again, the opposition were not capable of playing football so thats not as positive as it might be.

The bad: Stoke in general. They have no place in the Premier League. A horrible, disgusting excuse of a football club that offer absolutely nothing to the game. I really cant say enough bad things about them, they are scum of the highest order. And thats not even taking their excuse of a fanbase into consideration. As one poster said, I dont think anyone would bat an eyelid if they did fold and go out of business. I read during the week they average 2 shots on goal a game and only 28% possession per game. Both the lowest in the league. I cannot wait for the day they get relegated and we dont have to worry about their brand of "football" any more. Please, please can it be next season.
