Multibit Bitcoin Wallet

    Hi,
    Does anyone here use multibit as their bitcoin wallet? I was transferring bitcoins from Virwox into my wallet. I used the "send address" instead of the "request address". Does anyone know where the bitcoins went or is there any way to get them?

    Where did you get the send address from?

    There shouldn't be anything in the send tab in MultiBit unless you've sent something to some other address before.
    If there was and you've sent it to that address, there's no way to recover it unless the owner of that address sends it back.

    Thanks for that, makes sense. I have to figure out who owns that bitcoin address now as i's been a long time since I used it.
