Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    I am in semester 2 of my 1st year in college, it is a Level 8 course with a duration of 4 years. However I do not like what I am doing and I would like to change over to a course that covers the same elements in Years 1 and 2 as the course I am doing now does - however the course I would like to transfer to is a level 6. Would I lose my Grant Payment if I were to do so? Or would it be ok?

    The course I am currently doing is Accounting & Finance. I really dislike the Accounting part but thankfully you don't really specialise in this subject until Years 3 and 4. I would like to transfer into the Level 6 Business course - I looked into it and the first and 2nd year of this course covers the exact same material as the course I am in currently so I wouldn't need to repeat Year 1, I could go directly into Year 2.

    I am just wondering would I lose my grant?

    As long as you progress to year 2 of the new course you should be OK, but as you are changing course you would have to reapply.

    Thank you for your feedback! At this time unfortunately, if I was to lose my grant I wouldn't be able to afford to go to college. I'll look into it further, hopefully I'll be able to sort something.
