Do men prefer waxed off, little bit of hair or au naturel

    I know this has been asked before but can't find anything definitive or else the thread gets out of control in AH. If you can be honest as possible thanks, hopefully this will settle an argument with a mate :D

    As a guy do you prefer (in a woman):

    1) All hair down there waxed off, ie; completely bald? (Hollywood)

    2) Everything waxed off except for the landing strip? (Brazilian)

    3) Just neatly trimmed, no hair sticking out at the side of the knickers?

    4) Full bush / au naturel?

    We prefer all of the above :)

    I hate to be crude, but for guys, or me at least anyway, the main priority is that everything is fresh and clean down there. Once that is sorted, I really don't care about whether it's waxed, shaved, trimmed, natural, whatever.

    i agree with grandmaster fresh is the best, I've been with all types and it didnt matter about the hair, but when she isnt fresh below that is a big turnoff

    If really pushed for a choice I'd probably go with 3. That's still fairly natural to me, but tidy, nothing wrong with that. 1 & 2 seem a little too much.

    But as everyone else says, as long as everything is fresh and clean, what the hair is like is really incidental!

    3 is bang on, 2 can be ok as can 1. It depends. Full 70's bush that looks like she's giving birth to the jackson 5 not so much. Fresh a given.

    The replies are very interesting.

    I have often wondered why ladies get the full monty down there, or near enough. To please their man?? If so, it looks like they don't care much by the sound of the replies so far anyway.

    So ladies do you wax for your own sake or that of your mate?

    Also, one for the lads... if a lady is bare down there e.g after the Hollywood treatment, do you ever feel you are with a minor? LOL.

    Personally speaking I think the whole waxing thing down there is ridiculous. For what I ask? Pubic hair is there to show we are mature adults and not babies after all. Yes, keep the garden tidy and keep the rest of it nice and fresh too, but that is all that's needed. Mon Dieu, before waxing and beauty salons became compulsory, ladies got laid all the time, didn't seem to bother the lads.

    Lads, I hope you keep your areas tidy and nice and fresh too BTW......

    Full bush is best.

    Nice scent of box batter, which is the reason it's there, in case you didn't know.

    Gets the flag nicely unfurled up the flagpole,and gives the bell something to aim at.

    Nice little swampy red crack nestled in a dark damp thicket is your only man,you'd be mad not to bang it.

    Tickles the side of the shaft too.

    If woman is under 25 then its no 1
    if she is under 30 then its 2
    30-40 no 3
    you know what next here. :cool:

    The world can see your underarm and leg hair, so naturally, that is something different and maybe kept bare because everyone can see it.

    Don't think our Mediterranean ladies care too much though, having seen them sprouting on legs and underarms and they don't give a damn. Their lady gardens must be in full bloom too. Good for them. I'd say the Latin men don't care either.

    Spanish eyes, fair play for exercising your choice when it comes to pubic hairstyles - but do me a favour and don't look down on others who don't share your opinion.

    It's a personal choice. Some women prefer it... That should be the end of the discussion, surely?

    As for the "everyone can see it" argument... I never, ever wear bare legs... But that doesn't make it ok not to shave them. I do it to feel clean, sexy and smooth. Same goes for my lady area.

    The one reason why I support waxing is the following:

    Oral is so, so, so much nicer to give when a girl is waxed.

    It's fine if they're at least trimmed, but just downright unpleasant otherwise.

    I've been getting a Brazilian the last number of years & would never go back! Yeah its a bit painful but i personally feel its so much neater/more hygenic.... So in my case its definitely for my own sake no-one elses!
    i think it comes down to personal preference... not a fan of a lot of hair down there end of story!

    To say that waxing is ridiculous is in itself a bit of a ridiculous statement as its kind of each to their own no?!

    I can't add much, but if you are in a relationship never tell you're OH when you plan on getting waxed. Nothing beats the she's freshly waxed surprise.

    Oh, I didn't. I'm just assuming many people here would have a double standard. Waxing/extensive shaving for women? Yup. Anything more than a quick trim for men? Nope.

    Well, on the other hand, from what I glean from reading the internet, many women find no pubic hair on a guy to be unattractive. In that sense, it's not so much a double standard as a general preference.

    Personally, I have asked my OH if she would like me to shave/wax and she has said no. I keep it well trimmed, but wouldn't have any objection to removing it should she request it.

    If a guy would never consider doing that for his OH, but would expect her to be shaven/waxed, then that would be a double standard, but I wouldn't make any assumptions on how common that would be.

    Oh sure. I just wonder where those general preferences come from. The underarm hair is an interesting one as there have been times I've felt that I couldn't go to the gym because I forgot to shave under my arms - I'd be too self conscious - while at the same time recognising how it's a little warped.

    Some very interesting answers. Surprised at the amount of lads saying all off - Hollywood! The thoughts of getting that done makes my eyes water. If I'm really honest I would be a bit put off if a guy really preferred that or asked me to do that. Something very porno about it (maybe that's the point)

    I'd usually go between number 2 & 3 but whatever hair is left is kept well under a centimetre :p

    Re lads, I would find it a total turn off to come up against a Hollywood job on a guy. Pubic hair is much more... reassuring & if it's kept trimmed, it doesn't get in the way of anything. Don't mind arse crack hair or hair anywhere really as long as it's kept under control.

    IME all off or even partial off was rare enough in Ireland 20 years ago. It would have been a "no way :eek:" shock moment to find for me and my male mates. Ditto with my women mates then. The first time I saw a hollywood was a foreign lass. Same for the landing strip. It seemed very common. The further south you went(missus! :)) in europe the more popular. Maybe more options for skimpy bikini wear? I only knew one irish woman with it all off in my 20's and her ma was french.

    That would have been pretty consistent until the last 10 years say, where its grown in popularity. Now Irish women are more into it. I'd say the same of thongs too. More foreign women wear them.

    Well yeah but theres a bunch of other reasons for it, keeping our bits warm as an evolutionary step before we started wearing clothes is one, so thats not longer really a necessity. Also it one of the few areas where you get apocrine glands, which cause b.o when the milky substance it secretes come into contact with skin bacteria (ever wonder why only your armpits and pubic/anal area smell bad when you've gone with out washing for a while? you dont get a b.o smell off your arms or face as the glands arent present there.

    But back on topic, either a full wax or landing strip is what I prefer, cant beat going down on a girl when shes trimmed way down or completely clean, I shave mine off al the way, highly recommend it as my missus loves it ;)
