Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

New house old projector

    Hi,

I'm moving into a new house soon. I want to set up my old projector and sound system as best I can. The projector ran on the old rgb and I had a Sony 5.1 DVD amp system. I'm not going to replace the projector yet, but I will run a hdmi in the celing while I'm at it. Is there a better option than 5 speaker cables in the wall? My gf wouldn't be a fan and to be honest neither am I. I haven't used a DVD player in years so changing to a nice sound bar or something would suit. Not too expensive.

    Thanks

It depends on how fussy you are, but a decent soundbar is better than a low end surround system. A 5.1 DVD type all-in-one system would be considered low end.
Expense is up to you and how fussy you want to be with it versus how much you want to spend.
