Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    I am looking for student web designer to work over the summer months to make make a few simple wordpress sites.

    Anyone know where I should look ?

    I could probably help you. Doing a web dev course at the moment and have done WordPress sites in the past. Just getting further into WordPress now. What level of customising do you need.?

    There all simple sites but some graphic design and seo knowledge would help...

    Email the departments/lecturers/heads of faculties at the various colleges and let them know what you're looking for. Be sure to include the rate of pay or you'll generally be ignored.

    I think there are places where you can hire web designers/developers at a very low rate yet of quality work. You can try Odesk, Fiverr or Staff.com (focuses on full time hires). There are a lot of sites actually but these are the most common landing sites for entrepreneurs who are looking to hire.

    Currently studying for a degree in Marketing with a module this semester focused solely on web design through Wordpress. SEO, Local SEO, Sliders etc. have all been covered. Our main project come Christmas is a fully functioned website designed through Wordpress, so I couldn't be fresher on the topic of it really. Have done modules in Graphic Design previously.

    Would like to give it a go if anyone is looking for any assistance, so shoot me a pm! :)
