Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Selfishly I want it moved as I'll miss it the Friday.

But I'd imagine it will hit our gate in a big way.

    load of arse.
First day of the season and they move the marquee game to a Sunday? This isn't looking good for league coverage next season :(

There seems to be double header in Pairc Ui Rinn on the Sunday, so that would affect the crowd. And I think I heard someone say that the Ballycotton 10 is on the Sunday aswell, which would hit our East Cork supporters cause thats a pretty big day in the calendar.

It's a shame they can't the TV game in on a Saturday evening. That'd be the perfect slot I reckon.

I don't know about you lads but I get fair cranky if I don't see my Winning Streak on a Saturday evening.

We go to all the trouble of getting promoted to get away from the likes of Longford .... and then we draw them in the Cup!
I cant see us being too bothered about it though, with Sligo 2 days before and Shams 4 days after. At least its a home game!

    Our Jerseys for the season

Happy with the home one, though the gigantic sponsor ruins it.

Less said about the away one the better.

Have Bohs ever worn green in any jersey before? Cant imagine that going down too well.

Wasn't popular on the forum, but was part of the sponsorship deal with Mr Green (Along with the boots). We can't afford to turn down money.

    Looks like a keepers shirt.

McPhail to Shams looks a certainty now.

Spend the entire off season harping on about progressing the club and building for the future, then sign a 34 year old to plug the massive holes in your midfield.

Confirmed now. Good signing and should see Shamrock putting it upto Longford and Galway this season.

Jesus that away Bohs jersey is a shocker - looks like they got a job lot of old goalkeepers jerseys.

Very cosmopolitan of them to have a photo shoot on the other side of the city too. Don't be getting notions lads :)

  • Moderators, Regional East Moderators Posts: 23,228 Mod ✭✭✭✭GLaDOS

I'm assuming it was to model our new green jerseys sponsored by Mr Green and St. Stephen's Green.

    Green.

    :(

Chin up, at least its not a black pudding on your jersey.

That is easily the worst jersey I've seen with the exception of that Rovers goalie jersey and possibly Liverpool's 3rd kit.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 34,424 ✭✭✭✭The_Kew_Tour

Ah I have seen far worse, but it does look like a keeper jersey.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 51,342 ✭✭✭✭That_Guy

The sponsor ruins the home jersey. As for the away... certainly won't be purchasing it.

Oh I don't know - I think a relatively recent Irish international could do a lot to raise the profile of the First Division.

Just heard that the Youths V Athlone LSC game is unlikely to go ahead tomorrow because of the weather and I literally have no Plan B for Valentines Day :(

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,558 ✭✭✭✭dreamers75

    Rice McCormack

    Bayly McPhail

I believed rovers mate who said it was cost cutting and building for the future, not so sure now.

Was called off earlier today rather than a late call tomorrow on account of players having to get time off work. Re-fixed for Wednesday 19th apparently

Was up and walked the pitch earlier today and it is in very good condition, considering. No point in bringing everyone down, however, given the forecast tomorrow

People will say they were only ever fringe players and the only reason they're playing in Ireland now is because they're all passed it. Even if Fahey moves back across the water and earns more caps, there'll still be no convincing most people.

Hopefully, had planned on getting the new home jersey, regardless of which one won the vote. Not quite sure now with that size sponsor.
