Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Upgrading Sony Arc S (or Paying Someone to Do it?)

    Hi Guys,

    I've a nearly 2 year old Sony (Ericsson) Arc S (LT18i)

    Was working fine till recently enough but has become annoyingly slow, very unresponsive. I've no idea why this is, I've an extremely limited number of apps installed and it gets little use. I tried a factory reset of it but that did not seem to help.

    I suspect it is some kind of software issue but my knowledge of smartphone OS installs etc is very poor and I'm not that keen to put a lot of time into learning about it.

    I'm interested to try out flashing a newer OS to it such as this to see if it improves the situation but don't have the know how to do so: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2632819

    Is there anywhere in Dublin that would do this for me. I'm guessing it is 20 minutes work for someone who knows what they are doing.

    The alternative is just to discard the phone but I'd sooner not seeing as I've otherwise been happy with it and I suspect the issue is not a hardware one

    Any advice would be much appreciated
