Perhaps the range has changed? Mpgs can drop for many reasons.
Have you tried measuring the actual mpgs using fuelly or similar?

When was car last serviced? Last clean/change of oil, oil and air filters, MAF and plugs? Tyre pressure?

Did you try resetting the average fuel consumption afaik the range is based on the reading so if your consumption is higher than your range drops. Best to reset the average consumption every fill or so. But to get a true reading of consumption you should brim the tank reset the trip drive until 1/4 tank or whatever brim it again take down the distance reading of the trip and litre used to refill and just calculate your mpg.

Before you even start to worry, take a week or so to measure how much fuel the car is actually using. It's described above (the brimming method) and see if the car might just be reporting incorrectly.
This is just good to know anyway.

With www.fuelly.com you can quickly log your consumption at the garage after filling up and then compare to other cars in your category.

Btw, what year and model SF is it? Turbo etc?

Op read of the current average consumption of the computer our 2007 Santa Fe auto used to read about 10 L / 100 km that's normal again they are not accurate. Just reset the current consumption and calculate the actual consumption manually your basing all your worry on a range figure which is not accurate anyway. If its a 2007 model a rough guide would be 4wd auto 28-34 mpg and manual 2wd upto 40mpg. 4wd manual is somewhere inbetween they are very rough figures but give you an idea.
