2006 S Class W221 dashboard miles to km

    Just wondering, seeing as the mileage clocks including the needle sweep, speed figures etc is just a digital image in these cars, is it possible to swap the entire clock display between km and miles with just diagnostics or is there more involved?

    A dealer should be able to reprogram it for you using Star.
    Perhaps, perhaps this is possible in your settings menu but probably you need a dealer.

    Its not mine so I dont have the car to try the settings.
    Hopefully someone here will know if star Diagnostics can simply swap it between km/miles without any other costs.

    Its definitely possible on the 2007 > models via the steering wheel buttons but I think the 2006 needs to be plugged in. Some high quality diag units can also do it, you may not need to go to a dealer, ask a good indy if you know one.
