Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi Guys,

My electric windows on Volkswagen transporter 08 are not working. The electric mirrors work fine. I have checked the fuses under drinks holder all seem fine.

Anyone experience similiar problem or all suggested fixs much appreciated

The switches give a fair bit of trouble on these but thankfully are cheap to buy new from VW.

Have they all stopped working via all switches or does the passenger window work via its own switch?

If you put the key in the drivers door lock barrel and turn and hold the key in the unlock position do the windows go down?

    Thanks for reply,

None of the switches work at all. I tried with the key and windows do not go down.
    What I check next ???

lift out the drivers seat and below it there are a few heavy wires in the centre they go under a piece if metal over to the passenger side of the base of the drivers seat ,, if you look at the thick wires you will see they have rotted , pretty common cental lockin usually goes a little dickey too
