    Hi,

    I'm looking for information on the Springboard Diploma in Computing with Security and Forensics at WIT.
    Has anyone here done the course before?
    What was your general impression of the course?
    Is the course likely to run this year, and did it run last year?
    Also, is programming one of the main features or is it more practical and theory based?
    Finally, regarding the work placement module-do you have to find your own work experience, or does your tutor provide this for you?

    Hi,

    The Dip in Computing with Security and Forensics does involve (Java) programming - mostly in the programming, security and forensics modules. Java prog is an area that a lot of people do find challenging but no previous knowledge of java is presumed for this course. If you haven't looked at Java before why not try out one of the loads of really good Java tutorials on the web to see how you get on with it.

    Course will run this year and has run for last 2 years.

    Re the placement we have a dedicated Placement Coordinator who works with you to get the Placements.
