Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I registered with the Nintendo Club right here. I registered my console and games that had the code. Apparently I am collecting stars by doing this and then stars can be redeemed in time for items/treasures :)

That's what I used mine for,

Might have been if it meant something. The console thing is all new to me and no way with how crap I'm proving to be, no way would I have spent sufficient monies on items to build necessary stars for anything daycent :)

    Thank You though.
    Gonna follow that thread,

    Who's Shane? :D

Not quite 220, but this seems to have gone down from €300 again.
    It's now €249.99

pfft doesn't have a purty Zelda controller ;)

Incidentally, anyone who's looking for a new Motion Plus remote + Nunchuck should check out the 3rd party knock-offs.

I bought a new remote with nunchuck off ebay for £11 (€16). Arrived after 5 days. It's the one with "Motion 2 in 1" on the front.

Tested the motion plus stuff on Sochi 2014 and it all works perfectly, even the speaker on the controller sounds fine.

    I've also got these coming:
    Rechargeable batteries http://www.ebay.ie/itm/Dual-2800mAh-Rechargeable-Battery-Packs-Remote-Charging-Charger-Station-For-Wii-/331552350843?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item4d320f627b

    Classic pro controller http://www.ebay.ie/itm/Classic-Wired-Game-Controller-Remote-Pro-Gamepad-Shock-For-Nintendo-Wii-GT-/111470808684?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&var=410466601816&hash=item19f42d8e6c

About €26 all in... not bad!

Gotta say I'm loving the hacked vWii, gave SmashTV on the SNES a go this morn and brought back nostalgic memories of random violence from my youth ("I'll buy that for a dollar") *wipes tear*

Those that got the vouchers, remember they run out in July, so don't forget to spend 'em.

I bought a sunlounger in Argos with my €20, and then traded in the 4 games at Cex to buy a Wii game to pwn the WiiU (Indiana Jones), plus a few other older Wii games. All in all a nice deal :)

For anyone that bought this and hasn't yet purchased other games for it (i.e. me!), I picked up ZombiU for around €9 new on Amazon (http://www.amazon.co.uk/UBI-Soft-1232-ZombiU-Nintendo/dp/B00844Q328/)

Seems like a bargain to me as the cheapest I can find is €15 2nd hand, and it's a quality game that really makes the most of the Wii U's unique gamepad interface.

Of course it's only really a bargain if you get the free delivery so be sure to include it along with other items you might be picking up from Amazon to qualify for free delivery.

I got a mail from Nintendo letting me know I had until the end of Sept 2015 to use up my stars. I only had 1200 stars from registering the 4 games that came with the Argos offer (and including 250 stars for user registration), and also thought they were useless based on above comments but then I spotted in the mail that you get an extra 750 stars if you login through the new Club Nintendo portal (https://www.nintendo.co.uk/News/2015/August/There-s-a-new-way-to-log-in-to-the-Nintendo-website--1040179.html).

So that gave me 1950 stars. Which turned out to be enough to actually buy a game via http://stars.nintendo-europe.com/

Enjoying F-Zero: Maximum Velocity at the mo.

This Argos deal is the deal that just keeps giving. I vote this as Bargain Alert of the year! :pac:

If you haven't registered the 4 games you can still do it here: https://www.nintendo.co.uk/NOE/en_GB/club_nintendo/product_registration.jsp

Note that you can't get stars for registering the Wii U itself, they've locked that down.

Now, must admit, I never read my emails from Nintendo -> straight into bin, however,
I just logged into my Nintendo account there and it states:
    stars = x
stars expiring at end of September = 0
    total stars earned = x.

Seems odd that some stars expire for some, but not others.
Can stars be gifted? I won't be using mine so if they can be gifted then I can give mine to someone who might use and benefit from having them?

    Thanks,
    kerry4sam

The stars programme is finishing at the end of September for everyone. That "stars expiring at..." message is a hold over from from when you had to use them within 12 months of redemption.

You can only gift your stars if you've not already redeemed them. If you still have codes to redeem, I'm sure someone in the Club Nintendo Ending thread will be happy to take them.
