Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

New suit - Poly Viscose?

    Hi,

Buying a couple of new suits for work. I go through trousers ridiculously quick, would get max a year out of a suit trousers.

Looked at a suit at lunch and the sales person said it was Uniform Poly Viscose (80/20). He said that it would be much harder wearing than normal suits but still looked well. He claimed a lot of other Poly Viscose suits would be Fashion Poly Viscose and would crease more and not be as hard wearing.

I am not sure if I have had this fabric mix before, but would welcome peoples opinions on it.

I am not in the market for spending four to five hundred on a tailored suit, as it is for everyday work use, and no matter what material I use I still wear out the trousers in no time.

Last two suits were 100% wool.

    Thanks for the help.

Personal opinion but I'd stick with wool, synthetic fabrics won't look as well from day 1, and after a few months wear can develop a 'shine' which will make even a well-fitting, expensive synthetic suit look cheap.
I'd consider buying a second pair of trousers for your next wool suit and alternate them in order to get more wear out of the jacket in the long run.
