Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,

I notice (or maybe it's in my head) that if i view a 1080p/720p film on my media player connected to my TV the quality is perfect, if I view the same
film on my laptop connected to same TV (via HDMI) the quality perhaps is not as good ...

Is this because the TV will just replicate the resolution of the laptop ?

it's a 40" TV, but surely 1080p should be always 1080p regardless of screensize ?

You have to make sure the laptop's set to display to your TV at the TV's resolution. Display mirroring will probably make it look scabby.
