Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    I'm thinking http://www.metrogolf.ie/

I've done this, it's good craic. They provide clubs, so just bring yourself. You can bring your own clubs if fussy - but you'll probably be half cut towards the end of the round anyway so the clubs won't be the problem.

I understand it won't be possible to suit everyone unfortunately but if I could get a show of hands of who could attend and if there is a preferable day then I'll go ahead an book it.

The golf will no doubt work up an appetite. They have options to provide food (pizza), other alternative is to go somewhere for a meal afterwards. Let me know what you prefer. I'll hold off making a decision until I get a better idea of numbers.

They only have one free bay 18th-20th weekend (suitable for 4-6 people they tell me)

I've provisionally booked 2 bays together for 1-4pm for the Saturday before (12th Dec).
If I can get the numbers to justify these two slots then I'll call them back and confirm later this week.

Please thumbs up this post if you would like to join on Sat 12th Dec 1-4pm.

Unfortunately I'm working that weekend so won't be able to attend. It certainly looks like good craic.

Looks like we're struggling to get numbers for Dec 12th. They've been on to me to either confirm or release the slots that I had provisionally booked. I stuck us down instead for a single bay on Sat 19th for a smaller group for those who expressed interested (will PM those). Thinking we might grab a bite after golf and then reconvene in the bull and castle (Lord Edward St) if anyone else fancies a pint later.

Cheers. It's too late for us (vouchers not to be used until after xmas). But I might pick up one for another time in the new year.
