I was just wondering if I got a video sender in Lidl/Aldi/Maplin etc..... as well as receiving the signal on the actual receiver would I be able to get the signal by tuning it in with just a normal tv aerial?

    In a word
    No

The video senders use a higher frequency (2400-2500MHz) Normal TV's wont tune above about 854MHz (also the videosenders use FM for the picture signal ordinary TV uses AM for pictures and FM for sound)

Mind you I recknon theres a gap in the market for portable TV's with built in videosender recievers (fewer boxes and wires to clutter the place up)
