Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

anyone know what the crack is with the security guards and strictness regarding people staying over

If you're talking about campus accommodation, then they can be pretty strict. If you want to have someone stay overnight then you have to request it at least a day in advance (if the person doesn't live on campus) and as far as I remember there's a charge of €5.

Points are not the issue unless you know the Dean. First come basis.

    Are you pulling strokes.

Do not make a comment like that again.

keep your head down and its not quite that strict,. volume down and you will be ok.

And do get on to to me check my posts and check his/hers

Do not warn me. I have done nothing wrong. I will take it up with your boss.

How can anyone warn me for doing nothing.

Its like Hawk-eye without an explanation.

    Civil damages to Board.ie,

That is so wrong but with social media I have a print-out of all conversations,

Be absolute in what you say,

    Regards

Have not derailed anyone. It would be in your interest if you actually looked at the post. It was not offensive in any way or publicity racist or LGBT or anything. I think your making up stories to get publicity for yourself.

I have asked you repeatedly on here and also via PM to report the post in question. You still have not done this.

You have now been banned from this forum for 1 week for ignoring mod instructions, back-seat modding and being generally uncivil.

Well lads, due to friends not coming back to college after the summer and repeats and stuff, I'm somewhat stuck for someone to get a place with for next year! Going into 2nd year and 19 and would greatly appreciate a shout if anyone knows of anyone with a spare room that needs filling, thanks!

Why are not her parents looking after this, Plenty of good Landladies in D9 but its
600 euro a month. Personally I think its time to wake up the parents.

I have an apartment I was going to rent for this year but I'm taking a year out now and don't need it anymore and I'm looking for someone to take it off my hands. Its in an all-student apartment complex in Glasnevin called Shanowen Hall. Ensuite bedroom, living with 3 or 4 others (some apartments are 5 bed some are 4, not sure which this is in) all students. If you're interested you can check out the website there

Hi, 3 2nd year students( girls) looking for accommodation near DCU if any one has any info.
    Much appreciated.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 849 ✭✭✭petronius

I see from the Irish times that prices in student accommodation in DCU as well as, TCD and UCD is going up this year -
Is this just profiteering based since rents are going up, rather than a cost increase for the colleges to provide accommodation
