Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Battery Life.

I see articles like this about the place, but I am having difficulty finding technical details about what Apple actually did. One of the heads on an IRC channel I hang out on said some guys reverse engineered the firmware on powerbooks and found that they were designed to kill the battery life prematurely, I am unable to find a good article on it. Does anyone have the full story.

I doubt there's any truth to this. I don't think Apple would be stupid enough to risk such a lawsuit.

Don't worry, I believe everything I read on IRC too. :)
