Gas boiler heating efficiency

    Hi,

What is the most efficient and economical way to run to run a gas heating system, to heat house separate to heating water or run both at the same time. I have a high insulated tank so the water stays hot for hours. I usually heat the water an hour before we get up and use showers but would it be cheaper to heat it the previous evening when the heat comes on for the house.

    Thanks in advance....

Have each zone time and temp control seperate with boiler interlock.

Not sure if this an answer our your asking a question. If question heating is zoned upstairs, downstairs and water. Water is not heated if heating for house is on unless switched on or timer set for both or all to come on at the same time! Not sure what boiler interlock refers to.

    Thanks
