Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi All.
I'm moving into a new apartment block tomorrow which has Sky digital distributed throughout, without the need for a decoder. I've heard that some brands of DVD recorders can get very confused with this sort of setup and as i'm going to buy one soon i'd like to hear from anyone who has a similar setup?

That's interesting. I live in an apartment block with NTL, but would love to have sky digital instead. I thought I would need a dish, which is not allowed.

    How is this done?

I'm not entirely sure! I'm moving in tomorrow, i'll see if I can get onto the roof and see what kind of Dish setup is up there.
Sky themselves installed it, it's some special package for apartment blocks, and you don't need a decoder but you can use one if you wish, presumably to access the, ahem, 'premium' channels.

but i'm guessing you don't have any epg or the like?

I'm guessing you can hook up a sky+ box eh?

If you are getting all of Sky piped into your flat, there must be a lot of LNB's on the roof (And a lot of Sky Decoders.) Maybe they meant NTL Digital.

It must be NTL digital. Sky do a special service for apartment blocks but you must still have a decoder so everyone can choose different packages
