Claddagh Spring/Summer Tag Rugby?

    Whats the story with the tag rugby teams playing in Claddagh Park off Grattan Road on Tuesday nights around 7/8pm. Who runs it and how can people sign up to play?

    Lately Galway rugby league team have started up training down there, around that time, tuesday and thursdays. since its only pre season it looks like tag rugby.
    its a little early for summer tag rugby

    It could perhaps be a couple of tag rugby teams training?

    The Irish Tag Rugby Association Spring league is on Sundays at St. Mary's, and the IRFU Spring league is on Wednesdays at Dangan. I'm not aware of any other tag rugby leagues that are currently running.

    I know last year that people trained at the Claddagh for the Corinthians league. Maybe just pop over and ask.

    There are teams from both the St Marys (Thursday) and Dangan (Wednesday) spring league training in the Claddagh. Most of those teams play in either St Marys (Tuesday) or Corinthains (Thursday ) for the summer league's. There's no Dangan summer league this year.
    If your interested you can sign up as an individual for the St Marys league on the ITRA website. The summer league starts on Tuesday 20th May.
