Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,
Im just looking at alloys for my car at the moment. I have looked at a few different places in dublin and they are all qouting 650/700 odd. A place in NI qoute £315 on their website. Would either come with tyres or do you have to pay more for them.

Would I get a trade in on my own wheels?

Thinking of getting r32 replicas for my golf. What ya think? yeay or nay?
    thanks

Try Halfords.ie, they seem to have lots of offers at the moment, got mine 2 weeks ago, you have to reserve it online to get special offer, they are expensive in shop though.

I think the price includes tyres as well, £315 for tyres and alloys seems allright.
    I paid €370 last week for 15" alloys and tyres , i didn't need fitting but that's €30 extra.

As far as I know, the tyres that come with alloy wheels generally wouldn't be the best quality ones - just something to be aware of!

that was what i was thinking.

What kind of figures would we be looking at to get fairly good quality tyres put on them?

thanks for the help by the way.

If it's for a Mk5, then yes, yes they do.

Make sure you get the right fitment alloy wheels. If you have a Mk4 Golf the PCd will be 5*100, a Mk5 will be 5*112.
