not sure if this is the right place to post this. feel free to move it Draco bad news for those of you that like downloading movies and songs from the internet. found this on bbc news i wonder if it will ever come in to effect.

but all you have to do would be to moves your music/ films into a different folder then your shared kazaa or morpheus folder

Thats a bit stupid for 3 reasons.......

1. How can they target peer to peer services? Centralised Napster is one thing, but peer to peer, by its very nature, is unstoppable.
2. I have thousands of legitimate MP3s (ripped from my own CD collection) on my PC. Surely they can't do anything about those?
3. Privacy. End of story. It'll never pass.
