Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Whats the volume like?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 892 ✭✭✭Just a little Samba

Mine just arrived. Very light, nice packaging. Quite comfortable, straight away lacking in the mid range out the box but well worth the 50 quid.

VERY BASS HEAVY! I must say, very BEATSY in sound, which is not a good thing.

Just gave it the James Blake "Limit to Your Love" test. Felt like my head was vibrating. Sound is novelty bass, but will be good for Hip Hop heads. Soundstage isnt bad on them in fairness, good isolation, but noticeable sound leakage so you wouldn't want them at more than 7/10ths volume on public transport.

If they're not to your liking let me know via pm and ill take them off you for cost price. I'm a hiphop head and they sound like they'd be good for some 90's boom bap.

They would definitely sound quality with some Dj Premier instrumentals on them!

Can anyone who received theirs tell me were they sealed? Mine have just came and they are definitely used - make up on ears and chips on paint. Adding to that the instructions were crumpled inside the headphone bag and not separate. I can appreciate when something is clearance but not telling us is a bit underhanded - might just be me tho.

Yes mine were definitely opened and someone took the cleaning cloth from the box. It's in the YouTube reviews and also says it on the box.

Got my lovely manly pink headphones today.

Debating now to swap them for the Sony ones on the CPW site. Still at 29.99 in store so 20 cheaper than IT7X2. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated as to which is better.
The colour doesn't bother me too much at all but would rather have the better headphones

The IT7's seem the better product over all but the Sony's are great kit for the money. They both have the same functionality as far as I can see.

Sorry was trying to find a similar colour online as I cannot post a picture yet.

Check out this link, best match I could find or just google PMS 1785
    http:// www .colourlovers.com/color/FC4F59/PMS_1785

Headphones are a matt finish so not too loud but they are defo pink (watermelon pink)

Nahh they are a nice manly pink ; ) , but yeah could defo flog them.

Why wouldn't you go for the Sony BTN200 as they are still 29.99 is the CPW stores (not online though)?

I am not a fan of the on ear cans. I like when the pad encloses the ear for comfort, but they are a great buy for €29.99

Just got them started up there. Very happy with them for 50 bob.

Decent enough sound, bit bassy and slight leakage. For 50 ya cannot go wrong for a wireless set of headphones, especially when compared to the dearer brands.

Delighted with them. The pink isn't that strong, they aren't glossy. Sounds is outstanding. Arguably better and more comfortable than my 150 euro seinnheisers.

There are two different "pink ones" it seems on the sites. The first pair are alot brighter.

I would nearly call yours red :)

White balance is totally off in those pics they're definitely not red.

They're not red. I'd ignore the third one. They don't really look like that.

I do get that, but there appears to be two types of Pink on the site. I bought a pair as a present and it definitly seems pinker than what you have there.

Great great sound out of them though. have been tempted by them all week.

  • Registered Users Posts: 92 ✭✭mackcracknsack

Na those pics don't really show it correct. First picture is OK. CPW only have the Matt pink finish

Check out this link, best match I could find or just google PMS 1785 which is the colour code

Delighted with mine, I agree they are definitely PINK. Sound is great. Now I want to get a thingy that will let me use them to hear TV.

Pantone chart number PMS 812 2x seems to match mine exactly. http://limecitydesign.com/resources#/pantone

Let us know what thingy you get for letting you hear the tv, and how well it works please

Got mine today, best sound I have had out of headphones, they exclude the background noise very well!

No joy on the thingy to get headphone TV - one of the electrical retailers proposed a solution to make my TV "smart" but costing 90 yoyos! Ah, well.

Any way to switch off the LED permanently? It's blinking is fairly annoying in a dark room

Yup mine too, let me guess - headband split in three separate areas. The clamping sort of feel has gone from them now.

Mine full on cracked when unfolding the headphones today, not impressed at all with build quality. Wonder is it covered at all

Anyone try to return them to CPW? Mine cracked too. Emailed today and was told to contact the manufacturer. Won't be doing that - so will persevere with CPW.

I've actually done both with both of them fobbing me off to the other

    Wow, those headphones sound terrible.

Point carphonewarehouse at this thread, they should see others are having the same issues. Consumer laws and what not, CPW aren't allowed to point you towards the manufacturer.
