Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi Folks

After some time browsing through the forums, i've finally joined.

I love watching live news feeds and was wondering if anyone knew what satellite rte and tv3 use to uplink from their sng trucks.

Ive never come across a irish feed on Eutelsat. Anyone got any ideas?

RTE use a block of 5 transponders on Intelsat 903 almost exclusively for uplinks, unless somethings changed recently. Look on Lyngsat, "RTE Feeds" and "Tara Feeds".

Have you recently seen any RTE feeds there?

In the old days I watched TARA on 34.5 west, I miss TARA!!!!

80cm might be a bit small. Also you'll need a DVB-S card if you want to watch the MPEG 4:2:2 feeds.

If if Nexus. high end, or Skystar1, set to "soft mode" as the on-board MPEG2 decoder on has firmware for ordinary TV.

This is one of the companies that does stuff for TG4. I've seen their truck parked in front of the Mansion House in the past year.
