Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I was thinking of getting iLife '06 because it looks so damn sweet. My dad would be buying it because he's an cameraman and iWeb would be perfect for building an online portfolio/showreel etc.

The only thing I can't seem to find out is would he have to switch his current site (eg. www.mydadssite.net) to a .mac address (e.g. web.apple.com/mydadssite) or can I use iWeb to design a site and publish it with a standard FTP client to his current host?

    cheers,

    AFAIK

iWeb will save locally so you can transfer to any webspace you want via FTP as you would normally do.

I have a copy if I find this is not the case I'll post.

    There are menu options:

    Publish to .Mac
    Publish to a folder

So iWeb will write the files to the disk ok, and you'll be able to upload them anywhere. :)
