Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Apartment in France

    I have an apartment in the south of france(Nice) and want to get Sky(well freesat card will do to get itv channel4, 5 etc)

    I had the guy out last week to have a look. He said he would put a dish on the roof of the apartment block. I'm on the bottom and thats five stories up.

    To install dish and box etc he wanted 950 euro. Thats without the card.

    He is a reputable guy as someone else has got him to do theirs.
    Does anyone know if that sounds like a good deal.

    Cause i don't know.

    Depends on size of dish and difficulty of reaching roof and path of cable.

    It sounds a least 50% over expensive.

    How much is a flight from Shannon :) ?

    I thought 600 would the correct amount.
    Will try and see if there are others.

    Nah can't go direct from shannon at the mo.
    Dublin or Cork 180 euro approx.
