I absolutely love cooking and at the risk of sounding immodest, I am brilliant at it. I'd be put off if a gf refused to attempt to cook for me when I had for her or didn't offer to help but that would be more about them being lazy and selfish rather than anything to do their actual cooking ability or lack of.
