    Against all common sense I switched back to traditional grip a good few years back, and it just feels more natural and refined. It's always very tempting to go 'dugga-dugga-dugga' around the toms with matched grip.

    Although, look at the way BR switches to matched grip to play the floor toms in that vid around 1.32.

    The guy who did the drums for Animal was a British Jazz Drummer called Ronnie Verell. You would have seen him most recently as the drummer in the house band for the Frank Skinner Show.
