Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi

I wonder could someone explain some thing to me
I have a huawei ascend g300 with a 16 gig micro sd card with vodafone.
I have some apps but not a lot.No pictures or music

My problem is that my phone is saying that i have insufficient storage to down load or even update any apps.
I have transferred anything that i can from internal storage to the sd card

In the storage part of the system settings
My phone says that i have 2.00gb out of 2.05gb internal storage.

BUT if i go into apps/manage apps it says internal storage 663mb used and 93 mb free.

    Any help appreciated

stupidly the 2G internal storage is only used if you have no external SD card in the phone, it isn't used at all otherwise (there are ways around this with custom ROMs etc). There's only 750MB for system & apps. Some apps can be moved to the SD card, but many apps don't allow this.

There is an app in the Play store called "Link2SD" which will move any app to the SD card, but it requires that you create a separate partition on the card for apps, and I think you need to have a rooted phone as well.

worth getting a decent SD card (class 10) if you're going to run apps off it otherwise performance will be poor (probably the reason developers don't like having their apps moved to SD).

I have a class 10 micro card alright.

you were right about the rooting being needed for the link2sd.

Time to start learning about rooting:confused:
