Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Betsen looked in real trouble after the injury in the first few minutes last Saturday, I love to watch him play and I'm delighted to see him in the team this weekend. But here's my question, no agenda, just a simple question ...

I was at the match (lucky me - definitely among the top 10 days of my life !!) but only when I saw the match on telly did I realise quite how injured Betsen was. There was a stretcher available and he looked as if he was badly concussed, I don't think he could have walked off the pitch under his own steam.

So did the Fench management team avoid using the stretcher so that they would not have to declare him as concussed and he would avoid a compulsory lay off imposed by the IRB after a concussion injury? Otherwise I can see no sense in why such an ovbiously badly injured player would not have been stretchered off the field!

While I'm at it, was it just a knee in the face or did he get a dig while he was getting off the ground?

Yeah pretty much though he could walk after a while not very straight but never the less around. Might have been his call to walk of by himself since that would have meant the end of his campaign.

But honestly if he was really worse for wear they would have declared it, last thing you want is a player getting brain damage or something a week latter after getting a similar knock.

Youtube the video for yourself and make up your mind. Theres a closed fist in there and knee camera angle doesnt help either

He got knocked out by Pelous (a.k.a "The Waste Of Space"). He kneed him in the head. Useless player...
