Looking to get reverse sensors fitted. Rang up a place in Sandford and got quoted 350euro plus colour coding included.

    Anyone any recommendations.

Are you looking for OEM sensors? What car is it? I fitted a cheap €20 eBay set which was buzzer only to my car a few years ago and never had a problem with them. They look almost OEM too. Of course I fittted them myself so if you are not up for that you would need to find someone to fit them for you.

I also had a set of ebay ones fitted, going to buy another set for the new car. Very easy to fit (seemingly - I got a mate to fit it)

Worst part is drilling into the bumper! I have a pdf showing you how it's done if you're interested. You just drill the holes, push in the sensors, feed the wires back to the brains in the boot, and connect it to the power for the reversing light.

It's a new golf that will have colour bumper. Not something I want to attempt on a new car!

Is the car already built? There's a reversing camera available that's actually quite reasonable on them.

It's also possible to retrofit one. You can buy units that replace the rear number plate lights cheap enough and the head unit on the mark 7s can take video in afaik. Saves drilling new bumpers.

Yeah, already built. Can you link me muppetcheck. Sounds great.

    Thanks

This is basically the same thing as on the Golf:

    Some eBay links too.

I think it's mainly coding, it's all optical cabling now but you can buy compatible cameras.
