Image in wordpress site.

I don't know a whole lot about this but I thought I would ask here. I have a wordpress site and I am trying to get an image next to my posts and a big image at the top of the site. Something like they have on this site... http://fiveouncesofpain.com/ I know it's a bit of a long shot but can anyone help me out?

WordPress 2.9 introduced post thumbnails. See also add_theme_support() function and the_post_thumbnail() function.

This does require changing your theme to make use of post thumbnails. You could download a free theme that has post thumbnails and see how they use them.

Thanks for that, had a look but not sure what I am at, I need someone who knows what I am after and they can do it. Can anyone help me with what I am after? PM me a price if you can help me out.
