Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    hi,

    anyone know a good app for taking screenshots from different types of games? like directx and dos games.

    I say good app, not one that plasters their logo all over the image...

    Most games have inbuilt screenshots, eh F12 in CS/Quake/MostGames

    shin: the print screen doesn't work in the dos game and the brightness/colours are messed up in the directx game.

    baz: no such function for the games I'm trying to capture.

    What particular games are you trying to get screenshots out of, FRAPS is very good at taking screenshots and movies from games, whether it works in dos i have no idea

    Broken Sword and Lure of the Temptress. I used snagit and the first 3 pics came out OK, after that there were spots all over.

    try playing broken sword using scummvm. that should sort the problems.
    you could also try playing lure of the temptress in dosbox.

    yeah scummVM was my other solution. however, I've saves taken by playing normally with windows and I can't use these with the scummVM version. where I want to take a screenshot is fairly near the end and I don't have the time to play all the way through.

    oh, BTW Stu, did you sign up at Revolutions forum today?
