    First of all, I'd like to congratulate Fintan on a brilliant performance in the EPT. Well done!

    We're going to throw a party for him in The Eglinton Casino this Wednesday. There will be some money added to the prizepool. I dont have an amount yet but I'll post when I get the official figure. With the amount of phone calls received today, I believe this could be sold out before the clock even starts. Space is limited to 110 so if you want to play you must register early. The club is open from 4pm on Wednesday so you can pay anytime then. If you're in Galway you can pop in and pay anytime before then.

    This is a massive achievement for Fintan and I know most people are glad for him. It gives hope to all the bad players out there!!!

    1. Who is running the event: The Eglinton Casino, Galway
    2. The purpose of the event: Commercial
    3. Date and Location of event: Eglinton Casino, Wednesday 17th September
    4. Registration and Start time of event: Reg anytime up to 9pm Wednesday. Clock starts 8pm sharp
    5. Any prerequisites: member of club, can be done on the night
    6. How can tickets be purchased & is there a maximum number: call into the club anytime from today. Max 110
    7. Type of Tournament: NLHE
    8. Cost of entry and any subsequent rebuys/top-ups etc: €100 freezeout
    9. Cost of registration: €15
    10. % of entry fee/rebuys/top-up going into Prize fund: 100%
    11. Any guarenteed prize pool: €10,000 min payout - €3,000 added by Fintan
    12. If applicable, Number of re-buys allowed and over what time frame/blind levels: n/a
    13. Starting Chips: 10,000
    14. Rebuy and Top-up chip amounts: n/a
    15. Blind levels: all levels
    16. Blind timeframes: 25mins
    17. Places being paid and if any prizes are other than cash: 10% usually
    18. Are there going to be dealers - and their level of skill: yes excellent croupiers
    19. Will there be a documented list of rules: yes
    20. Is there a tournament director: yes
    21. How are disputes handled - who has final say: tournament director has final say


    I'm really looking forward to this tournament guys. Great atmosphere guaranteed! If I could play I would, so anyone that wants to work for me you can!!!

    Well done Fintan on a great result. Unfortunately can't make it down on Wed night but I'll do my best to get a crew from Claremorris down within the next few weeks. Congrats big man!

    Couldn't find the original thread to edit it - thanks mods.

    I can put your names down provisionally but I cant guarantee seats without payment. If there's a big queue on the night it'll be first come first served. I'll be here from 4pm on Wednesday so call in early to reg and then you can come back at 8pm. I've had a lot of calls already so I'll take note of names and keep you in mind but if there's 10 guys in front of me with cash I'll have to reg them first.

    Fintan has arrived back in ireland :) not the best for wear but alive,

    Yeah definitely kept a lot of people entertained. There was a group of us in Carrigeens house and everyone was on the edge of their seats.
    I though Pat was going to collapse, he didn't want to see Fintan in a hand at all!

    Lots of interest in this tournament so far. I was speaking to Fintan today and even though he's so hoarse you can barely hear him, he said he'd looking forward to seeing everyone.

    Just want to say thanks to everyone that showed up for this. We were sold out before the clock started and had a list of 40 alternates. Did our best to get everyone in and sorry to those who we simply couldn't fit.

    Fintan added €3,000 to the prizepool making it a total of €16,500.
