Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    If its purely political music:

The Coup - Pick A Bigger Weapon, Genocide And Juice, Steal This Album.
Immortal Technique - Revolutionary Vol 1, Revolutionary Vol 2.
Sunz Of Man - Freedom Of Speech.
Black Market Miltia - Black Market Miltia.
Dead Prez - Let's Get Free.
Brother Ali - Shadows On The Sun

And here's some stuff similar to Nas:

Mobb Deep - The Infamous, Hell On Earth.
Nas - Illmatic, It Was Written.
Wu-Tang Clan - Enter The 36 Chambers, Forever.
Raekwon - Only Built 4 Cuban Links.
    GZA - Liquid Swords.
Ghostface Killah - Ironman, Supreme Clientele.
    AZ - Doe Or Die.
    Method Man - Tical.
Black Moon - Enta Da Stage.
    Killah Priest - Heavy Mental.
    Inspectah Deck - Uncontrolled Substance.
    Cormega - The Realness.
    Gangstarr - Moment Of Truth.

Not technically hip-hop... but influenced by all sorts of such.... Zack de la Rocha in RATM. Proper political!

if your into the roots you could give Aesop Rock a listen, political, modern and not black v's white stuff.
Also, but a bit out there, give Dalek a listen, very political with a bit of an industrial(ish) sound, defo worth a listen at least
U can find both on myspace to hear a few tunes for free
