Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Doom the Movie

    There is no word at www.imdb.com for it, but i did read somewhere there are plans to make a movie based on the game. Much i guess on the lines of Resident Evil.

    What do you think?

    Well Resident Evil was crap (as has ben nearly every other game to movie thats come along) so hopefully if that are going to do it they will learn from all the horrible mistakes of the past and make somthing decent...

    Ah resident evil wasnt too bad imho, hopefully if they do make a Doom film they wont hollywoodise it where some brainless muscleman has bloody and brutal revenge on some evil guy because they killed him rocketlaunchers cousins pet anaconda!!!!

    ok, i have heard this story about filming doom since the late 80's i believe, and it was suppose to be 'Arnold' being the doomed guy but untill now nothing happend.

    i'll have to see it to believe it !

    can't wait untill the make a movie of 'bubble bobble '

    They were the worst most unscary zombies in any movie ever made! the dogs and the licker were the only decent reanimated corpses in the movie...

    Compared to the zombies/infected in 28 Days Later they are like fluffy kittens...

    It could have been a WAY better movie with a couple of changes...

    Ancient rumour. Other old rumours were of a Quake film and a Duke Nukem film (which sounds most promising, given that the character has *some* depth - you know how he talks).

    I'd dismiss it and hope that Half Life 2 leads to a short anime series or movie. :)
