Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

At the age of thirteen, Vlad Dracul and his younger brother Radu were held as political hostages by the Ottoman Turks. During his years as hostage, Vlad was educated in logic, the Koran, and the Turkish language and works of literature.

They were, by all accounts, exceedingly well-treated by their keepers. Radu was a court favourite of the sultan, and later converted to islam and fight his older brother in Wallachia.

The word dungeon summons up images of dripping subterranean caverns full of stinking straw, bones in the corners, and rats to play with. This was certainly not the case for the two brothers.

    Link, please.
