Secondhand strimmer

Has anyone bought a strimmer secondhand ? I need a petrol one for around edges and back area of garden. Hoping to pick one up fairly cheap. Wondering do lawnmower shops do them secondhand ?

Lidl and Aldi will be selling petrol engined strimmers very soon now (gardening season again).

Be careful when purchasing a second hand two stroke machine. Always make sure it is starting and running OK before buying and ensure there is good compression. Check your local hire shops to see if they are selling off any ex hire machines.

id buy new to save hassle in the long run ive one of these and its a dinger for cutting grass its also has bump feed so when the string is short you just tap the head of it off the ground while spinning and it lengthens the cord automatically its also very easy to start and comes with 2 year warranty
