    hi all, i have been writing/blogging for awhile now.

    someone asked me to write a story for them.

    i'm the type of writer who will write what come up and then edit at the end of it.

    but i am wondering if i should be writing about one subject at a time.

    if i have to write about one subject that leads onto the next subject, how many pages should i write about each subject.

    i don't know if you understand what i mean...hope you do.

    You were asked to write a story, so what were you asked to write?

    Is it fiction? How long? What is the subject? What is your deadline?

    Generally, the longer a story is, the more important planning is.

    I'm not sure I understand what you are asking. How do you write about more than one subject at a time? Is it fiction or is it detailing a biographical event?

    hi, sorry in taking so long to reply.

    i do a lot of writing, short stories, poems etc.

    i have been asked by a friend to write the story of their life and events.

    now i have never did anything like this before, so do i just write

    each event following into another event?

    or just write as it comes out.
    i imagine if i do that it will get all jumbled.

    could someone give me some tips on what i should be doing.

    my way of writing would be to write what comes and then fix it later iykwim

    but with this i was thinking maybe i should be doing it from age to age, event to event.

    advice please.

    I still don't get what you are asking.

    If it's biographical just telling the story how it happened is the way to do it.

    Your style appears unconventional - is this just on boards or does it carry through to all your writing?
