    Hello All,
I moved to Galway about 11 months ago and I haven't gotten my hair cut since then. The last time it was cut was in the States with my trusted Curly Hairdresser. Can someone please recommend a salon with a hairdresser that specializes in curly hair? I wear mine curly and never straighten it...and finding a hairdresser that knows how to cut curly hair to be worn curly is never an easy task. The Salon would have to be in walking distance from the City center, as I don't have a car and only use the Bus for transport. I appreciate any help I can get! Thanks!

Hello! My friend from work has extremely curly hair and highly recommends this girl called Niamh (aka the hair fairy). She's based in the liosban industrial estate so you can walk it/get the bus out to it

Try Valair on Market Street, i have curly hair too and i always get Laura to cut my hair. If you have facebook here's their link https://www.facebook.com/valerie.cooke?fref=ts

If not here's a link to their blog http://valairhairdressing.blogspot.ie/
BTW they only charge €35 for a wash, cut and blowdry!!

I go to Niamh (the hair fairy) too. Found her through a recommendation from Boards too! She is brill! And cheaper than most other salons. I've been going to her for about a year now and wouldn't go to anyone else. And I'm very particular about my hair! It is not curley but she is a great hairdresser so I can only imagine she would be good with curley hair too.

Hiya John Monaghan in David Martin is really good or Liz in velvet in barna. I'd keep we'll away from valair in market street...had to go to a different hairdresser to undo the damage they did. Best of luck
