Good folder locking/encrypting software

    Hi,
    Anyone know a good folder locking/encrypting pack ?

    I was using Folder guard but when I re-installed windows noticed that the "protected" directories were open, so it wasn't truly encrypting them.

    Is there a similar package that will root encrypt them ? so even if I remove the drive and attach to a linux/mac the files will still be encrypted ?
