Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I have a Sony VAIO VGN-FZ21Z laptop. Unfortunately the battery is completely dead.

I've never bought a battery for a laptop before, so I was wondering if anyone could recommend the best place to get a replacement battery.

And I need it before the middle of October When I'll be taking the laptop abroad for work.

    Thanks

Ebay is probably your best bet, or Sony themselves but that will cost you far more. Ebay batteries should be ok, just order one from the UK/Ireland and not from Hong Kong or somewhere like that for faster delivery

As you need the laptop for work, I suggest, you bite the bullet and buy an original replacement.

There's always a risk with 3rd party batteries. Sometimes they don't have the advertised capacity or less charge/discharge cycles.
