Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I have an HP Laptop running Vista. I can't seem to get some of my USB devices to work.
All devices have worked before on this laptop. A few months ago I restalled the OS from the backup partition. I'm unsure if I've run either device since then.
First is my step-sons Logik MP3/4 player - It takes power from the laptop but doesn't pop up as a mass storage device to drag files into. I reformatted it in it's own settings but it still didn't work.
second is a USB 4gig memory stick. The little red light shows but it doesn't come up as mass storage either.

For reference I tried my 350gig external portable HDD. It works without issue.
I also tried my other Step-sons Blackberry in Mass Storage mode and it works without issue either.

I have tried all devices on all 4 USB ports and the issue remains the same.

Any ideas what the issue may be? Thanks in advance for any help.
