Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

galaxy s5 v nexus 5

    thinking of picking up one of these babies.

    have galaxy s2 with cyanogen mod so i do like the vanilla android (wouldn't root the s5 due to warranty) so nexus appeals to me and the price obviously favours nexus but the camera and battery are in favour of s5? I am a big fan of the galaxy so am leaning that way in spite of the above. any tips lads

    I've had both. I don't think the S5 is worth the premium if I'm honest. Great specs but it felt to me a little too Laggy for a flagship.

    I wouldn't buy a Nexus 5 now either - a replacement can't be far away. But if you need to buy now the Nexus 5 is what I would chose. The camera and battery are a big step down compared to the S5 though.

    I also wouldn't limit myself to just those two. The M8 is a fantastic piece of kit, by all accounts so too is the Z2.

    +1 on the M8, I've had the other two as well and imo it's better, very good value on adverts.ie as well, I spotted one which was two days old for under €400 which is incredible value for what your getting.
